Mark A. Piro

President, Founder

 

Mark Piro brings over 20 years of experience and leadership to Affusion. He has spent the last 10 years focusing his thought leadership and delivery on Business Intelligence, Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Information Architectures. Mark has built and led several highly successful consulting practices for Oracle and Adjoined Consulting. Mark’s organizations have designed and deployed over 70 BI, ERM and EIA solutions to a broad range of global clients, including Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, MBNA, Cigna, Fleet Credit Card, Alcoa, Unisys, GlaxoSmithKline, Rite Aid and Georgia Pacific. He is a published authority on Business Intelligence and speaks regularly at international BI forums.

 

Prior to the founding of Affusion, Inc., Mark held leadership positions with Oracle, Adjoined, Lockheed Martin and General Electric.

 

Mark has a BSEE from Villanova University and an MSEE from Drexel University.

 

 

Buelent Zeyben

Director

 

As a Director at Affusion, Buelent Zeyben brings 15 years of experience in team management, product development and consulting experience from Fortune 100 companies. With a focus on business intelligence, financial analytics and management reporting, Buelent has led large-scale cost and profitability analysis and general ledger consolidation projects and streamlined enterprise architectures and business intelligence platforms.

 

 

Tim Brown

Director

 

Tim Brown is a senior technology leader with over 30 years of experience in information technology and software development. Tim brings extensive experience in implementing enterprise Internet/Extranet systems that include all aspects of e-commerce, security and data privacy. Tim was the founder of Myxa Corporation, an internet technology and services company which provided solutions to clients, including the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Susquehanna Investment Group, Penn Mutual, State of Delaware and Jones Apparel.

 

 

Rhys Jones

Director, Enterprise Risk Management

 

For over 12 years, Rhys Jones has been developing Enterprise Content Management, Collaboration and Workflow solutions for Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Telecommunications and Financial Services sectors, including Pfizer, Bell-Canada, Abbot Laboratories, Motorola, Airbus, John Hancock, Roche, J.P. Morgan Chase and Siemens. As a former developer of Open Text's Livelink, Rhys brings a rich and broad-based background in designing innovative and scalable platforms for Fortune 500 companies supporting millions of users. As a Director at Affusion, Rhys provides thought leadership and market direction in the application of Business Intelligence to IT and Operational Risk systems.

 

 

Amy E. MacLachlan

Director, Affusion Operations

 

Amy is responsible for the oversight and management of Affusion's operations, including HR, Accounting, Recruiting and IT. Prior to joining Affusion, Amy held positions in Marketing and Communications at General Accident Insurance and The Times Herald, Inc. She is currently a board member of Downingtown Works, a non-profit organization serving Chester County, Pennsylvania.
